Ok ,

Right, we totally got off on the wrong foot last time I was here, so this time I plan to take things alot slower and not to boldoze my way in.

As from today, I am the new owner of the streetfigher blog & these forums.
I wont go into detail, but sadly Jimmy has a few things to sort out and once he has hopefully, he will stick around.

Now im not going to change anything unless you guys want me to.
so if there are things that need doing, let me know and I will get them done asap.

I will mainly be working on SEO, to help push the site up the ranks, to help bring in new members.
other than that I will not just change everything as I made that mistake last time

I hope you guys accept that im here, with a new approch and I look forward to chatting with you.

I personally have nothing against you (as I had just joined during the last bout and didn't want to be involved), so I hope all differences can be set aside for the greater good of the forums. We've hit a surge of new members lately, and with the tournaments up and running it seems things have been going well with our forums.

Sad to hear Jimmy's not doing too well, give him my regards.

Jimmy said he added a guest corner but the code that humans have to copy to filter out bots wasn't appearing.

EDIT:
1. Is there a way to make it so that registered users don't see ads? The ads are getting annoying now.
2. Can we possibly get more forum skins? We only have two skins. Default (which is shyte) and SF4 which is the main black one with orange text. Its a cool skin but its been the only skin since I first joined back in April 2009!

Cheers Mr Flowers, that gives me a good start.

I have actually been looking at the coding of the current skin & I have to say, its terrible, no wonder half the stuff is not working right, alot of things are hard coded in, when they should be dynamic.

So i will work on a new skin.

I will also take a look over the other issues and threads you have mentioned to get them sorted.
plus hiding advertisements to registered users is the next thing on my list

Animated Avatar Fixed, the reason it was not working was because the size limit was 150 x 150, however your animated image was larger than this so when vbulletin resized it it removed the animation.

I have increased the dimentions to 300 x 300

For some reasons I'm seeing adds in the middle of threads, this hasn't happened before. Did something else change when jimmy left? IE, loss of money causing more adds to be seen? Just wondering, to be honest. Or is it just something in the coding was messed with? Cause now that I'm looking at it, the side banners aren't there. Did they get moved to after the first post?

there was code on the after first post, which i just fixed.
didnt see any side banners though.

however all ads will be hidden to registered users shortly
